Team Cone raised this donation through the efforts of teammates who organized, cooked, and sold ribs and Boston butts in exchange for charitable donations. “I really appreciate all of the people who helped make this Rib Sale so great,” said Kenny Kinsey, Area Sales Manager for Cone Distributing Tallahassee. “Chris Yates, Steve Verhage, Teddy Brown all worked hard to make this event such a success. We’d also like to thank Sherriff Jared Miller and Captain Dale Evans of the Wakulla County Sherriff’s Office for their help and participation.”

The Spring Rib Sale is part of Team Cone’s 2021 company-wide fundraising goal to make an impactful donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  The global pandemic has presented new challenges to Team Cone’s event-based fundraisers, but the team remains committed to helping St. Jude and other charities fulfill their mission. The beer distributor continues to host safe events and fundraising drives during the course of the year to help raise funds for St. Jude and other charities in accordance with one of their Core Values: “Giving Back with Caring.”
